WordPress to Next.js without SEO damage

This page documents the guardrails for EV-Wala's migration. It should stay visible until the WordPress export and redirect map are complete.

1. 1Export every WordPress post, page, category, tag, author, media URL, title, meta description, and canonical.
2. 2Preserve existing slugs where possible; map unavoidable changes to permanent redirects.
3. 3Generate sitemap.xml and robots.txt from final canonical URLs only.
4. 4Validate Article, BreadcrumbList, CollectionPage, and Organization JSON-LD.
5. 5Crawl old and new URLs before DNS cutover; fix 404s, canonical mismatches, and image failures.
6. 6Submit sitemap in Search Console only after live verification.
